SANDY BEACHES

Enjoy the beaches on Crystal Lake in Beulah and Frankfort or on Lake Michigan in Frankfort and Elberta. Follow these links for more information.

SAND DUNES

Visit the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and climb the dunes or enjoy the colorful vista's from the top of Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville.

VILLAGE SHOPPING

Wander the specialty shops, antique stores and art galleries in Honor, Beulah, Benzonia, Frankfort, Elberta, Lake Ann, and Thompsonville.

POINT BETSIE LIGHTHOUSE

Bring your camera and take the tour of the Point Betsie Lighthouse. Or bring your bike and ride the Betsie Valley Trail.

BETSIE AND PLATTE RIVER

Canoe, tube, kayak and fish the Betise and Platte River's. Camping and canoe liveries offer a wonderful opportunity to spend a day in the sunshine.

SUMMER FESTIVALS

Cities, towns and villages around the area sponsor July Fourth activities. Traverse City hosts the National Cherry Festival in July.

JOIN THE PARADE

Mushroom Festivals, Antique Car Shows, Spring Solstice Days, and a multitude of carnivals and festivals make Benzie County, Northwest Michigan and The Cherry Hut a great place to visit.
